We believe God has called us to be "fishing of men" (Matthew 4:19). Educating and discipling are our goals. Whether you are a beginner in your faith or have been walking with God for some time, with The Promised Land of Milk and Honey we want to help you grow in what God is calling you to be.
Let's Go Fishin'

Need Prayer? We would love to pray for you.
We first started our mission in Gaston county. Here we had our eyes open to the true need of hope and truth in this broken world. We served on Gaston's Continunium of Care group and served at our local church home. We setup and tore down at our portable campus and also served as youth leaders to high school boys and girls.
After selling our home, we have been in the Spartanburg area working in the community serving the people here. We have passed out food, gave out pizzas, free Bibles, created private space for people to write down their prayers and be prayed for. We have mentored at Meeting Street Academy, served at The Bridge, The Grove (Load in Load out Team and as youth leaders), P.S. I love you, Invisible Ministries and more.
We believe all matter to God. It is a motto for why we do what we do. People matter to God, they matter to us. Through this campaign we have been able to give out over 30 I matter boxes including Milk and Honey sweeter than honey products. We also hosted an I matter dinner at the UNA Fire Department. We were able to serve people there as well as taking to go plates to those around Spartanburg, SC.
One morning, we had a ministry event for Apartment Life, Breakfast Made Easy. After we took to the streets of West Atlanta to share the love of Christ through a simple breakfast giveaway. With leftover items, cutie oranges, granola bars, juice or water, and croissant breakfast sandwiche, we were able to serve 5–6 individuals in need. Each meal came with a prayer card, and we were met with gratitude and even a few prayer requests. A small act of service, but a big reminder that every meal and every moment can be ministry.

For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You as a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of Mine, you did it for Me.’
Matthew 25:35-40

BECAUSE PEOPLE MATTER TO GOD, THEY MATTER TO US.
To become “fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). Offering a place of community, encouragement, and hope. Meeting people where they are and helping them rebuild and/or start to live a life full of hope.
